Soccer Equipment
What equipment will my child need?
Soccer equipment includes an appropriate uniform, athletic shoes or cleats *, shin guards, an appropriate sized soccer ball, and a water bottle (since it will get warm and players need to replenish fluids).
*Players may desire to have a pair of cleats. Metal cleats are not allowed. Toe cleats (i.e., a shoe with a cleat right at the toe, such as a baseball or football cleat) are also not allowed.
Where do I get the equipment?
Uniforms are available at registration from AYSO. (Please bring your child along to help size the uniform or know your childs sizes!) The remaining equipment is available at local department and sporting good stores.
My children have outgrown their uniform and cleats? What can I do with them?
Our region will accept donations of used cleats and uniform items. Kids grow rapidly, and most need new shoes yearly, resulting in a lot of slightly used cleats. Please recycle your used cleats!
We make the used cleats available at registration on a first-come/first served basis to anyone who finds a pair that fits.
Used uniforms are used as part of our scholarship program.
